About Me

Education:
Master of Advanced Study (MASt.) in Astrophysics, University of Cambridge (2014-15)
Bachelor of Technology (BTech.) in Engineering Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India

Research Interests: I work on understanding star formation in galaxy clusters via stellar population synthesis modeling of spectral and photometric data. I use observations from facilities like the Magellan Telescopes (Chile), Hubble Space Telescope, Chandra X-ray Observatory, and the Spitzer Space Telescope.
I also study the physics of high-redshift galaxies discovered using strong gravitational lensing, and the statistics of weak lensing distortions around galaxy clusters.

My publications are listed here: NASA ADS

Research

Project I:
Stellar Population Synthesis (SPS) modeling of member galaxy spectra observed in SPT galaxy clusters.

Project II:
Characterization of high redshift SPT galaxy clusters with multiwavelength spectrophotometric data. (Paper here): Publication Draft (to be submitted in Oct 2021)
